Dan and Frances Hedblom of Copper Elements in Rochester, Minnesota, will bring their flame painted copper wall art to DubuqueFest fine arts fair for the first time this year. Their unique sun-catching metalwork, along with the work of over 60 other artists, will be available for purchase on Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, in downtown Dubuque’s Washington Park.
You’re invited to find Tim Olson & his old-timey camera during the festival and pose for this panoramic portrait! Using a vintage 1935 studio camera he will create a hundred foot long photo panorama. The Heavenly States, an indie-rock quartet based out of Austin, Texas, will make their return appearance at this year’s DubuqueFest Fine Arts Festival, sharing their original music in a free performance under the stars on the Town Clock stage on Saturday, May 18 at 9 p.m. Songwriter and guitar player Ted Nesseth spoke to DubuqueFest about the show.
