Dubuque Area Writers’ Guild Reception Writers Guild

Friday, 6 – 8 pm at Dubuque Museum of Art

The Dubuque Area Writers Guild is excited to publish the 39th edition of its Gallery book project. This year’s publication, “Movement” is an open-genre anthology showcasing the art and writing of Dubuquers and those with ties to the Dubuque area. The concept “movement” focuses on a variety of components, such as change or having changed, either physical or emotional. Or, the movement of location, trends or ideas. Movement can be the bustle of people or the passage of time. Movement can also be the progressive development of a poem or story. Books will be available for purchase at the reception, and at the art fair information booth in Washington Park throughout the weekend. Free and open to the public.
